Thermal Generation
The most common method of electricity production is Thermal Generation, which is based on converting the thermal energy of fossil fuels into electricity. Thermal power plants (TPPs) are, in turn, one of the main ways of producing electricity worldwide.

Over the years, the company has commissioned new thermal generation facilities with a total capacity of 8.3 GW.
Between 2011 and 2025, the company has performed commissioning works and put into operation the following energy facilities:
Reconstruction of the Chelyabinsk CHP 1 (Combined Heat and Power Plant) with decommissioning of the old section
PJSC “Forward Energy”
Construction of a new complex for propylene production via propane dehydrogenation and propylene derivatives (DGP 2) at LLC “Zapsibneftekhim”
